Kronos Review

Awesome :)
Even I didn't think he would find so many improvements with the Kronos, specially against the twice as expensive AF1! But I'm glad he had the means to do this direct comparison, because very few out there would be able to...
 
Don't have an AF1 to compare obviously, but definitely agree with Danon's observations on the low noise level and the impact on the music. Probably was a tough review to write given the heavy weights involved. Kudos to Danon!

This would be a table I would like to upgrade to, one day....

What would be the ideal arm and cart combinations for this table?

Steve - you definitely want the arm that is recommended by Kronos - the Kronos Black Beauty. As for carts, Louis favorite is the ZYX Universe Premium. That's the cart I'm using on my Kronos Sparta and will be using on my Kronos Pro.

+1 on the Black Beauty tonearm for the Kronos Pro (or the Helena for the Sparta). Lovely designs, very lively, they're a great match for the Kronos.
I'm particularly curious to hear a Kuzma 4point, my current overall favourite tonearm!
As for cartridges, we've used the Ortofon A95, to amazing results!
 
I heard the Kronos a few years back at the Toronto show and met the builder I was impressed with both. But I am not trading mine in.

They're both great tables. Once the needle drops, you aren't thinking about the next table-of-the-month club. Vinyl people are lovers, not fighters. You need to visit the Digital forum for that. [emoji14]
