I have a Krell S1200U 3D and have a couple of questions for the group:
1. I currently have Software Version 1.6G 3D, and EEPROM Version 2. These don't appear to be the latest versions. Any idea how to get these upgraded? Is this something I can do if I had the files? There is not a Krell dealer anywhere within 150 miles from where I live. I believe the software versions are related to HDMI issues I'm having suddenly. It's also become not-so-good at sending an HDMI signal to a projector via a 40-Foot cable. I've tried a different cable and it works fine, but I also tried my Pioneer SC27 processor and that works just fine with the "bad" cable that's in the walls. So I'm scratching my head here.
2. There's a setting page "Enable PCM HOLD" and under it you can select the input, for example Bluray, and then only one item "PCM CTL" with settings, "ONLY", "HOLD", "OFF". Can anyone explain what those three settings are and what are the scenarios for each? These are nowhere in the documentation or manuals.
