Kharma Elegance S7S

Hi Bob,

I’ve always like Kharma. I’ve heard many. Not great representation in America, but nice speakers. Beautiful fit and finish. Musical.

Mike, they are extremely beautiful speakers. Very musical, does not sound analytical, more of a rosy presentation. Partners well with tube gear. I listened to the S7S driven by VAC 200IQ- very memorable performance and they do low end really well. The S7S is about the price of the Magico S1 Mk2.

The dB7 and 9’s are their sweet spot. Once you set up right they can be game end speakers. Beautiful mid range and great bass too.

I listened to the DB7S and agree the two you mentioned are the sweet spot.

Folks

Just an update on my speaker hunt.
I decided to put money on the demo pair Kharma S7S in Pearl White from my regular dealer back home.

I was thinking of moving up to DB7S or DB9S but since the S7S came in at a very good price point in addition to apartment living,I decided to give it a shot.

Unfortunately for me it will be January before I reach home to take delivery of the speakers being currently stuck at work in the Middle East.
