I will be having (from a friend) the first generation of K Lau power supply design for the S1
I'm terribly missing the U1
So i'd test the PSU , and listen

First impressions ..
Before the test , I checked the voltage of the pins
The PSU is the 5 year old version of Kenneth Lau's creation
I guess that it's the first version

Build quality : Well nothing to say , I'd state that the picture on the web underpaint the actual product which is really nice and massive

No hiss or so when powered

The U1 is powered as usual

Sound :
Well more treble .. more harshness than the PSU from Lumin

At this time , unconvincing match for the U1

Well if anyone is interested, I sell my LPS Kenneth Lau (230 volt) purchased for my Lumin A1. It is in perfect condition and savings would be important.

Me just contacted Kenneth Lau by messaging him, me thinks either via this Audioshark site or via another site. After me established communication with him, we corresponded via whatsapp. Throughout the years me have bought two LPS from Kenneth Lau, one for A1 and another for U1. It might take a few weeks from the placing of an order until he has got time to assemble it, but he is 100% reliable.

I have order one now to my D1 and L1 (pluss Dr Feickert Woodpecker) Looking forward to get its. Great service and good contact. Use Booster now, hope this willl be better. Any way it s looks better
