Suggestions:

Speakers. Assuming you have a decent sized room, rhe Amphion Argon 3s are nice, but not at the level of your amps IMO. The world is your oyster. Lots of great choices in the market.

DAC: the DS is good, but there’s better.

Power: Shunyata Denali 6000T or AudioQuest Niagra 7000.

What preamp do you have?

Thanks Mike, appreciated. Agreed on speakers and I've always got my eye out for a good deal on a higher end DAC, just waiting for the right one to come along to compare.

That said, I'm a bit constrained on speakers to using monitors right now due to room/furniture setup. Speakers are so challenging to get a bead on. I really don't ever want huge heavy speakers again (after recently moving with a pair of 100 pound per Aerial 7b). But I do miss a nice set of full-range. It's just hard to find places to listen to a wide variety.

DAC-wise, I can't say exactly why but the DCS Rossini has my interest, but out of my range new. For now the DSD is actually surprising me. My last DAC was a highly upgraded AN kit 4.1, and was so organic and natural I think it may be hard to beat, but a bit left behind by the times, and being a techie I got the itch to move on.

On Mike's high recommendation I recently purchased a T+A DAC8 DSD from him. I am definitely a DSD enthusiast and this DAC is amazing. It is also surprisingly reasonably priced.

Oh, we LOVE pictures of members systems :D...

I have purchased many DSD downloads from Acoustic Sounds and HD Tracks. Also Native DSD, Exclusive Disk, and Blue Coast Records, among others, have a fairly decent selection depending on your music taste.

+1... if you are in the market for a DAC, this is one to add to the short list. could not be happier and it does PCM as well as it does DSD. as i have mentioned before: i feel like i have gotten way more DAC than i paid for.

there are several threads here that have a good discussion of this DAC:

Thanks for everything you guys have done to get me here Mike! I could not be happier. Have some Miles going right now, and things never sounded better. Even the Mrs’ eyes were wide when I played her some of her favorites.
