I always found it interesting that the "Man in Black" changed the lyric in the song to avoid a mild profanity given his history and attitude, but he must have mellowed mightily since the Folsom days.
While I don't mind his version, I still like Trent's original much better (Yeah, I know even Trent has said the Johnny nailed it...). IMHO there is something more deeply emotional from the man living the hell when he wrote/sung it (Trent), than an aging icon pondering his mortality (Johnny).
Either way though, thanks for the memory as I had forgotten all about this cover and it is good to hear it again.
