John Prine, R.I.P.

This one really hurts, especially because his last album was so good. And it had been too long since the prior one.

If you aren't familiar with his work, I'd recommend starting with his most recent: "Tree of Forgiveness".

"In Spite of Ourselves" and "For Better or Worse" are also excellent.

Sat front row last time I saw him. A true American legend. One of the best songwriters of all time.
