It's Showtime

Usually you buy the chair last but i couldn't help myself; it looked so comfy, just had to order it. Pushed it all around the room during construction, a lot of "you gotta move the chair".

I'm drooling. nice set up.
Barry

The ceiling is covered in Guilford of Maine acoustic cloth with wood trim as well as the walls and doors. The colors are Chocolate and Moleskin.
Owens Corning 702 for absorption under all the cloth as well.
31 wood slats of different widths for diffusion on both sidewalls off the front speakers, photo taken during early construction.
2 bass traps built into the left front and right front corner of the room.
Solid core doors replaced the lightweight balsa doors.
2 doors were added to close off entrance and exit areas - keep the room pressurized.
Hunter Douglas blackout shades.
Capal rug in Mocha from New Zealand, 100% wool.
Jacob Flexsteel chair and ottoman - more comfortable than my bed!
Room is 11.5 x 25.

Admission is free but it's $20 if you want to sit in the chair. And it's the only chair in the room!!!

I wonder what's behind those doors? Original 1953 theatrical poster, linen backed and never used.006.JPG

I'll run it by Judge Barney,080.JPG a bit snockered. He likes to drink Bollinger '61 when we watch James Bond.

When he's not watching movies with me, he's a real ladie's man at Club Bow Wow.
