Well I had a professional from the forum help me out and send a cable.

The Expected Delivery Date is: January 2, 2014

so I sort of have an excuse for another day or so. :)
 
Joe….Don't fall for the hype. Vinyl isn't really any better than digital. You might want to liquidate all that unnecessary gear, before opening the boxes. Just to help out….I'll take the Steelhead off your hands.

Nice !!!!I heard a brinkmann balance and it was the best table I e ever had the pleasure of listening to and the cartridge was just an average cartridge, nothing special

I wanted to share a quick story re my audition of the Alexias at Brian Berdan's new store in Pasadena. After a few hours and a beer -- I was offered more, even scotch, but I would have bought the speakers on the spot (Brian is a gracious host) -- listening over my digital library, Brian marveled at how similar our musical tastes were. He knew I wasn't into vinyl but wanted to play an LP single of Metallica's One he had sourced. My head almost hit the floor! Omg what a difference in dynamics! When my speakers and electronics are sorted out, I may HAVE to join you in your vinyl ride. Somewhere Mike and Jeff W. are mumbling "I told you!"

Please keep us posted when everything gels.
 
I told....oh, what's the point.....? :)

I'm just happy my digital has caught up to my vinyl! Now I'm like a dog with two....well....you get the point. :D

Mike - be sure to give the Alexia's another serious audition. Both the Alexia's and S5's are amazing speakers.
