Thanks. The Blackmore shot is from Rainbow in 1976 with Ronnie James Dio and Cozy Powell...the "Rainbow Rising" tour. I sat too close to the huge PA system, and it was so loud that I was dizzy afterward! My hearing didn't return to normal for 4 or 5 days. Here's another cool pic from
the show:



Hendrix was freakin' loud too, but at least he warned us: "This is going to be loud, but dig it." It was. We did. That was April 26th, 1970--I was 14 and saw god that day.

That doesn't make them fools, bit harsh don't you think calling someone a fool for playing a guitar.
