Infiniti QX80

Any Infiniti QX80 owners out there? It looks a bit weird but it’s quite nice to drive, i.e. it’s comfortable drive and over here we can’t get any of the big US SUVs so it’s either the Infiniti or the Range Rover which is more than twice the price or the Toyota Land Cruiser. There are no other full size Utes to choose from.

I’m 6’4 and my knees hit under the steering wheel. It felt really uncomfortable. And I didn’t like the drive. I was actually coming out of a G35, so I knew the Infiniti feel.. this was not what I was accustom to.

We ended up with the 2016 Lexus GX460. I love it, but gave it to my wife when I bought my BMW 550... I still miss the GX some days.

I can see how 6'4" would be an issue. I drove it yesterday and yes it is pretty old school, body on frame. Engine was powerful enough for me and inside it was pretty comfortable. It doesn't drive like a BMW X5 but it's about twice the size as well! I know I would be buying a dinosaur but somehow I'm tempted. Need to think a bit more!
