Increasing the playback volume on my laptop...

...Is there an app that will increase the volume of my Acer Windows 10 tablet? I have all the volume controls on the computer maxed out and you can barely hear it, especially if there is any background noise (TV, stereo, etc.) It's hard to hear some sources without any background noise.

I'm using VLC player. Their audio volume is louder than the common Windows volume settings.
