There's nothing like Pass IMO. But I'm kind of bias. Those blue dials draw you into the portals of the soul of music.

Seventy is indeed the new forty. My mother lived to almost 99 and still lived independently. My father wasn't so fortunate but he was a life long heavy smoker and he passed away suddenly just short of sixty eight.

I very often hear..."you don't look even close to your age." I certainly don't act it. Even I know that, LOL!!

Joe, those Pass Amps are beautiful!! And they sound every bit as good as they look.

Yeah, everything is slated for arrival tomorrow "late in the day". I have everything ready...cabinet, speaker cables already plugged into the speakers and ran to the amp cabinet. Also, interconnects and power conditioner all set (but only if it improves the sound).

I've been studying owner's manuals online for all the components. Still trying to get up to speed on all the digital stuff (MSB Discrete and Roon Nucleus), how to hook them up and how to use them. That's half the fun though. I'm really anxious to hear the Pass INT 250 through the Harbeth Super HL 5+ 40th Anniversary speakers. Exciting day ahead.
 
Are you planning on plugging the Pass Labs into the wall directly or use the power conditioner? The Nucleus should be pretty sraightforward. Ethernet to Nuscleus. Ethernet to Dac? Or are you using other option?. Dac to Integrated. What ethernet cables are you using?

Oh yea... have fun and enjoy!

Hi Darrel. Yeah, I'd like to keep things simple. I'll go direct to the wall unless my Furman power conditioner makes things sound better. Other than that I might have to experiment with the sequence of the components, interconnects, etc. I'm using a Cat 6 Ethernet cable. Mike Bovaird at Suncoast Audio (my dealer) will be helping me. I'm a relative newb with this stuff so I greatly appreciate Mike's help. Thank you for the kind words, Darrel. :thumbsup:

Yeah baby!! Everything (the entire system) is coming late this afternoon...probably about 5:00 to 5:30. We're usually about the last stop on the route. I'm hoping it comes soon enough to get things up and operating before bedtime tonight.

I have to work Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons. So I'll have some time to mess with the system in the mornings. Then I'm free again until the next Tuesday afternoon. I'm retired but I work p/t in the dental hygiene department at the local community college.

Good thing weather cold where he is as he's got a lot of break-in to do on that Pass integrated and the speakers so will help keep the room warm.
 
Hey guys! Got everything hooked up and ready to go. Still waiting on the Roon Nucleus. Was supposed to be here today but will very likely show up tomorrow. Problem is I have to work tomorrow afternoon and Wednesday afternoon. Might be playing tag with the FedEx truck the next few days. That's why I was hoping it would show up today. Oh well, it'll be here soon. I've waited this long. I can wait a little more. :wacko: Mike has been wonderful and very helpful. He has lunch or dinner coming next time I'm down that way.
