Not.. yet. Remember, I am still in the crying phase after paying the invoice for the order [emoji3].

Otherwise I am undecided at the moment. I had the mk1 on Stillpoints and noticed a loss of definition. As I do have a hardwood floor I think the Magicos benefit from a solid floor contact.

Wow, Poor AG lost out big time in the battle for emptying your wallet. As long as you end up happy, all is well.

I don't think he got a chance to demo them. His local dealer was not accommodating. Regardless, he made a great choice.

Mike is right, it's rather I did not get to hear them enough and that I did not want to change the entire system at the moment. So it was rather an idea and a long shot.

Hence, at least in my case, AG did not lose out. I will still audition them properly just out of interest, when I get a chance.

I had the same thought recently about the Uno XD - while I loved the concept, it would require drastic shifts elsewhere in the system (and possibly a new room, which may or may not happen quite yet).

Good luck with the mk2s - I'm sure they will provide lots of happiness!

As explained in my earlier response to Mike, in my case the AGs did nor lose out sound-wise.

But what must be noted, so far I have not met anyone willing to fork out the price of a medium size car to someone who obviously does not care. As such, AG is bleeding customer potential in my region. The company most definitely lost a potential sale.

This just exemplifies the importance of good market representation. A partner like Mike being customer oriented and responsive is essential to win in the marketplace.

If all goes according to plan it should not really be that bad: the mk1s left yesterday and the mk2s should arrive in a month.

Number 1 rule of speaker club. Old speakers never leave until new speakers arrive! You have my sympathy.

CONGRAT on your new speakers choice!
I am STILL waiting for mine... ordered them early April.. (i took the Black one... )...

I have just put my Q3 on SPOD and, if they do to S3Mk2 what they do to Q3, the price of admission to SPOD is well worth it.

Not for me. If somebody is throwing the $$$ at me for my speakers, take it. I keep a pair of Definitive Technology BP10 in the store room for the sole purpose of taking over speaker duties whilst transitioning through speaker upgrade phases. I've owned them for 20 years, and they've been called to duty many times for a few weeks at a time whilst I'm waiting for new speakers to arrive after replaced speakers have been despatched to their new owner.
 
I'm with Shark on this one... never let go my recent one till the new one coming.
i don't want to imagine how i could handle 2-3 month (or more) without a decent pair of speaker in my audio room.
talking about "Delay gratification" - oh my! :weird:
 
In my case it's just one month, during a very busy work period. So I'm cool with it.
