Can anyone post the curves. I'd be curious how wild they are and how low they dip. Just thinking about how difficult they are to drive, especially the S1. Thanks!

Joe...they have not been reviewed by any of the mags that perform speaker measurements so I don't think the impedance curves are available. Hears the S1 for a second when I met Mike yesterday at Goodwins but it was at the tail end of his listening session. He was definitely taken by it. Heard the Q1 with Mike and it did not do much for either of us. The S5s are impressive for sure but again for some reason they did not pull me in emotionally into the presentation. Very impressive - dynamic, go very low, very resolved and built like a tank. Rather big actually. The S1 was impressive according to Mike on how low they went for such a small cabinet and woofer driver.

Joe, go to audio (dot) de and search for Magico S5, they measured its impedance in the review.

I'm curious to the s1 as well. I agree with what Doug mentioned in another thread , they are very blah looking in the pics I've seen , but I don't like the wood veneers anyway most of the time I opt for black, or white. But anyone who has heard them has had loads of praise for them, not much for reviews yet. But this is a good pricerange for me. So I'm intrigued.

Thanks! I could see playing with a pair of S1's.

Me too Joe, the choice of color would kill me though . Lol, think I'd have to get crazy with blue or red. Lol!! My choices are magico s1, raidho c1.1, or Joseph perspective.
The raidhos might be hard for my snappers to drive. From what I've gathered. I'd have to look into it.
What color do you like??

OMG! Metallic Red would be killer.

I think the Raidho C1.1 would be an easy load for the Snappers.

just for fun.lol. :exciting:
the last 2 of course arent s1's

Those would blow the front door off my house Kev !!! Lmao!!
I love those speakers.

Wow.

That is not an easy load. Down to about 2.5 ohms at 60Hz.

And it is more challenging still because the low impedance is accompanied by high impedance phase angles and according to HiFi news the min. EPDR of just 1 ohm. :( That is unusually challenging.....

You should see the Raidho C2.1.:D

Hi Anatta,

That report on the Raidho C2.1 is clearly erroneous.

We can know this because Martin Colloms of HiFi Critic professionally measured (Vol 5/ No.2) the C1 with the below results. The impedance character of the C2 should be similar to the C1 after about 300Hz.
