I didn’t think anything would replace my Aurender…

Many distributors are not raising prices.
Truth.

I've received at least three emails from distributors in the last week saying they will NOT be raising prices.

It's amazing how this simple concept of RECIPROCAL is beyond the grasp of many.

The tariffs are NOT reciprocal. It has been confirmed by this administration that they are based on trade deficit, nothing else.

This is why you see 94% on Lesotho, a poor contry in Africa, with GDP of ~$500, one of the poorest countries in the world, which happens to sell diamonds to the US (and has basicly no money to import anything from the US).

Or Madagaskar selling vanilla.

BTW - according to WHO, weighted avg. of tariffs in the EU on US goods is ... 1.2%.

I'm affraid this will only be true as long as they have stock imported before tariffs. To get the full picture, you have to wait 6-8 months.
Let’s hope this tariff stuff doesn’t last that long. See you in a few days!

All the dealers and company reps I've spoken to about this situation say they would love to weather the storm and keep pricing flat... but can only do so for so long. Once current inventory is sold through, I suspect we will see increases, no matter the best intentions of the dealer/manufacturer.

Same fo US manufacturers. Given 90% of small electronics components (resistors, caps, transistors, ICs) are made in China nowadays, 54% tariff that the administration slapped on China imported goods, will make the price of the final product go up.

Same for aluminum, steel, copper etc. that US manufacturers source from Canada and other countries.

IMO everyone still hopes that someone at the administration will come to the senses.

New Aurender software update 1.25.147 for N20. I don't know what they did but the sound quality through USB is demonstrably better than before the update. Quieter, more dynamic, more musical.

While Aurender might not surpass Pink Faun in a head to head comparison I still think they manufacture and support a superlative product.

Agree... and at a fraction the price of PF models.

Aurender is awesome, but when you spend half your life educating and talking to people about aurender and championing the brand since day one (I was literally dealer 6) just so some guy can go and buy it from some other dealer who’s 5 cents cheaper, you become pretty discouraged. When I started with aurender they promised to keep it to 20 or 25 dealers maximum. Before I could blink John-Paul had like 250 dealers. Any moron with a van and a ladder got the brand. It was so disheartening. I still sell aurender, still love the brand and the people, but previous employees didn’t do them any service…..and I don’t mean Ari.

Very unfortunate. For me home demos/education/service are especially important for streamers, and especially for first time users (me). I expect a competitive price, but I don't believe in price shopping a unit like this - especially after my dealer has done the work.

Good, but most don’t follow what you’re saying. I have spent HOURS on the phone with customers discussing Aurender just so they can tell me months later, “oh yeah, thanks for the advice, I bought one somewhere else.”

You wonder why top dealers become distributors?

It’s shit like this.

And the customers who screw a dealer who serviced them to get a slightly cheaper price elsewhere are usually the first to decry on the forums about the loss of local dealers and blame the internet.

They are just clueless and selfish.

I've literally left brands I like because a dealer I value moved on from that brand. In my personal opinion I'll stick with the brands who take care of their dealers. It's usually a similar mindset - if they take care of the dealers they will take care of customer (in my experience).

Same with some of the crappy distributors. A dealer can't service their customer without the support of a good distributor.
