How to flip out your Italian Mama!

I don't like the telephone and quite frankly, don't want to be well connected or easily reachable except on my office emergency line. Very often I let the phone ring and monitor the message. I have a VERY short fuse when it comes to this sort of thing. Zero tolerance for time wasters and annoying practical jokes. I don't entertain unknown phone callers and make no attempt to keep them on the line. I hang up on lots of people when I don't get immediate satisfaction on the phone when unknown people call me. The first call would have lasted literally 6-8 seconds. [My phones have timers so I know how long calls last.] Subsequent calls would not have been answered.

After the first call I would have immediately reported my card stolen and cancelled my card. Following the call from my son in this scenario I would have put him on notice that he would be disinherited if he didn't quickly straighten everything out on his own. I would never have made it to the call where the radio station identified themselves and said the call was a joke. The whole thing is not acceptable and I don't think it is funny.

Luckily, my daughter would never do anything like this, so in reality I don't have to worry about this specific thing ever happening.
