How far apart are your speakers? Tweeter to tweeter?

I'm closer to the speakers with my Radio D5 system but further back on my Volti system. But then again - two totally different types of systems/speakers etc but both extremely musically engaging.

But I will say that before these 2 systems, I've always been in the 80% range.

As I mentioned, the 80% is a starting point.

Since I began actually logging the final voicing results (out of curiosity) about eight years ago, I have voiced speakers with tweeter-to-tweeter as close as 75% and as far apart as 86%.

All were based on maximum musical engagement for that system and that specific room. IMO, imaging precision and related sonic artifacts can get in the way of the music, as well as negatively affecting vocal & instrumental presence & tone.
