How do your packages get delivered?

LOLOLOL,Darn shame I couldn't add a USPS shot to this. Yesterday it was raining and she had a package, so the nice lady brought the rather small package and placed it on a chair ( caught by our smart doorbell) that was already soaked by the rained on out front porch. the little package was soaked all the way to contents which was a plastic capped bottle inside. Why she didn't place it at the door area which was DRY and why she just didn't leave in the post box as it fit. ODD.

Chris, I was thinking something similar. USPS and UPS have been the worst in my experience and UPS by far. Fedex has been superb actually.

I have never had an issue with FedEx, only one issue with UPS and they covered their mistake, but more than one problem with the United States Postal Service. . I guess it depends on the location and how well you interact with the carrier.
 
My wife watched a UPS driver log roll a McIntosh MC 2102 box up our driveway. Top to side to bottom. Bang, bang, bang, over and over again. The box weighed about 120lbs. There was a hand cart on the truck.

They brought in a UPS fraud inspector to look at the packaging and question my wife. The large closed cell foam pads between the inner and outer boxes were deformed and compressed. After she was finished describing what the driver did, the inspector just shook his head. $2500 later the damage was repaired.
 
Knock on wood. We have been fortunate with all of our drivers be they UPS, FedEX, USPS or Amazon. Only once was a package delivery placed near our garage doors rather than on our front porch. The outer packaging became wet but the contents were fine.
 
USPS and UPS have both been great. FedEx likes to put my packages on the stoop of the summer cottage next door to me, notwithstanding that both properties are plainly marked. It's gotten to the point that if FedEx says they delivered and the package isn't by my gate, I just walk around the corner to the cottage and get it there.
 
No real issues with any of the delivery carriers - it helps by getting to know your carriers

I'm a fisherman. My postman is also into boats and fishing. When I have a package on the truck, he calls or text me and asks when Im going to be around.
