Hole Too Small

Don't you hate it when the hole on the record is too small to get on the record cleaner or turntable? What do you guys do in that case?

I have a brass letter opener that expands the hole without doing damage.

I use an appropriate sized flat screwdriver as a reamer to just slightly enlarge the hole. Clearaudio also makes a Vinyl LP Drill specifically for this purpose.

Go to your hardware store and find a reamer its about $8.00 or order this one from Amazon @$12.00 its more precise than a darn drill bit.

I have had LPs that were a tight fit, but never had one that I couldn't get on my RCM or table without a little careful prodding. I wouldn't do a ream and scream on any of my LPs.

So Mark if you have a LP and the hole is too small, what do you do when prodding doesn't work ? trash it, send it back, forget about it
