Now that the Red Wings are in the Eastern conf. it looks like they'll be the ones to take out the Bruins... :satisfying:

Great to be able to go see them at the garden more though.
I play three times a week myself, so I am very much into the sport. I'm pulling for the Leafs and Lightening. Both teams look good for the new year.

The Season start in about an hour for me the Wings host the Sabres. It is going to be an interesting season with the Wings moving back to the east where they belong. Not so many of those trips to the west coast where the games start so late for us on Eastern time.

I would like to think so but the key piece they are missing is the scorer who can generate shots by himself. Taking nothing away from the likes of Datsyuk and Zetterberg but much of their scoring is off pass, pass , pass and shot. There are times you need a guy like Hossa who used his strength and body to get to the net.
I agree and there are some great teams out there: Pittsburgh, Toronto, etc. But the playoffs are a long haul and no team is better in the playoffs than the Wings. They'll find their lane and then look out.

I don't think the Wings will get it done this year. I am going to miss playing them since they moved East tho.

Oh man that was a nasty, awkward fall he took. There was more video on ESPN and when they carted him off the ice it it looked like he wasn't quite sure where he was. Looks like he's out of the hospital though.

Detroit has probably the best in Babcock. It is a long season we will see how many of the old guys are still standing in the end. I don't know they have the depth. Nice to have them back where they belong.
Chicago is still going to quite strong. Boston I'm not so sure about this year.Toronto is going to be a contender I don't know about all the way. Edmonton should get better this year.
