I came to this site to investigate digital sources, in particular new Denafrips offerings for converting digital inputs to I2S and feeding I2S to Terminator DAC via HDMI connector (Ebayen report pending). I am also interested in Lumin streamers. In general, I am interested in best bang for the buck re digital sources (used markets, of course). Feel free to suggest your best bang for the buck digital source solutions in $5k to $10k tier, $10k to $15k tier, and $15k to $20k tier (MSRP) and why do you think it is the best bang for the buck.

Ned, are you located in Canada?

Do you want your digital to include the transport/streaming part or a straight DAC in your budget range and then you’ll add a digital transport (not CD transport, but the part that feeds the DAC with the digital streamer)?
