Hi everyone.

My name is Bryce and I’m in Sydney Australia.

I’m 60, still working and love music of all genres.

I’ve always had a passion for good sound and much to the detriment of my bank balance, good equipment to play it through.

Looking forward to being a part of the community here and continuing my journey.

Thanks Dave,

My eldest son is over In Perth. Nice part of the world but so far from anywhere. It’s quicker to fly to Indonesia from Perth than it is to fly to the Eastern seaboard here 😉

Welcome aboard Bryce.

Please let us know which equipments are in your set up.......

Let´s see what gear is available on that part of the world.

I've always wanted to take a train trip across your Country, but even with my niece living there I can't bear the thought of the flight. Door-to-door when my sister recently visited it was a 36 hour journey, uck !!

Lol, I know right, it’s a long way from anywhere here.

I’ve visited the U.S a couple of times and from the East Coast here it took me circa 25 hrs to get to JFK.

Similar travel times to Europe and I had to make that trip a couple of times in just 2-3 weeks earlier this year. Once was pleasure but the other was business.

If I’m flying anywhere long haul for holidays then I make sure I’m going for a minimum of 3 weeks and usually try to get at least 4-6 weeks in to make the most of the long flight.

Asia is much closer 7-10 hrs mostly but I’ve seen so much of it and definitely wanting to see more of the U.S and Europe as well.

Welcome Brucey, I'm sure you will enjoy your time here.

I agree with you and Dave about the flight. A few years ago we were 26 hours from Tampa to Sydney. We spent 6 weeks in Au, NZ and Taz.
We planned our trip to start in Sydney during Vivid. We ended our trip there for a second 3 day segment.

Vivid, is a music and lighting show throughout Sydney Harbor. If any of you get a chance to visit Sydney try to plan it during that time.

Thanks Brad,

It’s well worth the trip once you get here. It’s just getting here😳

For anyone who may be interested Vivid is indeed well worth a visit and usually runs from late May till about mid June each year…
