Hello All,

I've been in and around the audio industry since my early 20's. Started in retail and migrated to the manufacturing side of the fence.

Retired now due to cancer, but still have regular listening sessions with a group of industry 'audiophiles'.

Thanks for the welcome.

As an introduction, may I share a photo from a recent 'sesh' where we were comparing a pair of Hypex NC400 monos with the latest Nord NC500 monos. You need 'full range' speakers if you want to get a true picture of how the amps compare.

These Townshend Sir Galahad speakers were completely 'remade' in June 2008. All work carried out at the Townshend factory.New drivers and internal wiring with their famous DCT cable (incl. driver coils). The entire plaster lining was hacked out and completely re-poured (the date 28th June 2008, is written in the plaster). If you enjoy lifelike scale and depth of bass - a step closer to reality than you're used to, they're a snip at £50K.

The 400's are good, but the 500's are superb (Sonic Imagery 994 op amps).

Look forward to enjoying some good reading.

Thanks

Welcome!

London is my favorite city. Hopefully you have visited Lowlanders Cafe

My Manager is in Chippenham, another very cool place.

Cheers

Nice to have you here. i was in London all of last week and will be there again for a few days in early Dec.
I met up with Bonzo and PhilipAC while there.

Dang Andy. That is a real shame. I really would have enjoyed that.
