Okay, so I am looking to do some re-wiring and change-up of my audio component cables. I am also looking to simplify as I have a Y connectors (will explain) and a switch box.

First - My pre is a Marantz SR4023 that is wired as follows:
Pre-Out to a set of Y cables
Y cable one side - for the Sub-woofer (because SUB OUT is defeated when you use the SR4023 as a pre)
Y cable other side feeds a breakout box INPUT

Breakout box
Input from PRE-amp as above

Output 1 - Yamaha M65 Natural Sound Power Amp - 170wpc
Output 2 - Velleman K4040 Tube amp - 90wpc

The above lets me choose which amp I want to use for power. I am considering pulling the Yamaha out of the mix and eliminating the break-out box. I pretty much only use the tube amp so - simplify.

I also have my Concept Table which requires a 10 to 12ft cable from the phono stage to the pre. All the rest of my cables can be 3ft.

So I need
1 - Pair 15ft cables for SUB
1 - Pair 12ft cables for Concept table
1 - Pair 3ft cable for the pre-to the power amp
1 - Pair 3ft cable for the CD player to the pre

I am cost conscious. I have been looking at the Acoustic Research Pro II series cables and the Belkins. Anyone work with these? It appears that the component cables for audio and for video are slightly different. I was always told you could use component video cables for audio but I guess that may be misleading.

So my question....Are these good ? Please tell me which will work...Thanks (also note, please keep in mind my general price range)

Amazon.com : Acoustic Research PR170 Digital RCA Cable-3 feet : Rca Audio Cables : Electronics

2 of these for the subwoofer
Amazon.com: Belkin 15 feet PureAV Subwoofer Audio Cable: Electronics

A pair of these for the phono stage to the pre (either brand)
Amazon.com : Acoustic Research PR132 Audio Cable, Gold RCA P - RCA P (12 feet) : Electronics

Amazon.com: Monster MC 400I-4M Ultra-High Performance RCA Stereo Cables (4 meters): Electronics

Let me look to find what you need, I know I have few long sub cables somewhere.
May be some RCA cables too.

Rob...don't know about the Acoustic Research cables and I am not a fan of Monster (all marketing hype and no substance). I have read that many folks rave about Blue Jean cables on the affordable end, as well as Mogami cables.

Blue Jean::

Blue Jeans Cable -- Quality Cables at Reasonable Prices

Mogami:

Amazon.com: Mogami Gold Studio 15 Microphone Cable Quad Conductor 15 feet: Explore similar items

Both providers also sell bulk cables which brings the cost down and you can do your own terminations. Check them out. These reportedly provide true high-end performance at very reasonable prices.

I second Cyril's recommendations - I have personal experience with Blue Jeans cables and they are great - solid build quality and reasonable cost. I have also heard good things about the Mogamis.
