Help me decide

Jeff...aren't there issues with Benz inventories and delieveries into the US?

Lyra Kleos. Done. Stupid good cartridge. Jeff sells them I think.

P.S. after talking to Mikey F., that's what I ordered this week. :)

I invite MF to the Forum
I wishes he honor us with a visit

And thank you all for the help

I know you didn't ask to have the waters muddied, but I really love my Sumiko Pearwood Celebration II. The other Sumiko reference cartridge (Palo Santos Presentation) is supposed to take it up another notch.

REVIEW: The Sumiko Palo Santos Cartridge

Jay,

I know i'm beating a dead horse here, but there's no right or wrong on this forum.. We all have different choice in taste, so feel free to chime in with any comments & recommendation you might have, and as long as we can keep everything cordial no need to be afraid..:peace:

Amen to that and that's the way it should be on EVERY forum but it isn't, thank's AUDIOSHARK.

I'm not sure about the Clearaudio, and of course, it's just my taste, but when I went from a Benz Ruby to a Lyra Skala, it was a huge improvement. The Benz was a warm, full sounding cartridge, but I found it to be boring and veiled compared to the Lyra....in my system. I tend to hold on to cartridges and the Lyra is my all time favorite. When I bought the Skala, I was worried that it might be too revealing and harsh, but is has shown anything but those qualities. It is a neutral, airy, detailed and sweet sounding cartridge. I am using a Keith Herron tubed phono stage. I've changed everything else in my system numerous times, but I have no intention of parting with the Herron or the Lyra.

What you prefer :
Clearaudio DavinCi
Benz LP

Haha...thanks guys. Still adjusting, but liking it :) I think I've posted more here in the past few days than I did in months at the previous place...
