haha!! you trying get me excited?? :exciting: it worked, itll be another 3 weeks only i hope. i always buy used so waiting on an ordered piece is new to me, and it sucks!!!
your pic looks like my avatar. i been staring at it for a couple months now. trying not to think about it isnt working. hope it looks as good in person in black as it does in the pics.

they also put pretty good tubes in em, my phonostage came with nos mullards and no reason to take them off or change them. except like you said when the big xls tubes come in.
 
The black looks great in the pics. Probably even better in person!
You should wait and see how the 12.5 watts works with your speakers before looking into different tubes. Maybe it will be fine in which case you can go with something like the Sophia mesh or carbon plates.

i see a few pairs of tubes in my future.lol. im sad i wont get to complete my 300b tests. cause they are all going to sound different in this amp than in the carys, so i either have to start all over again or just take off from the spot i left off with a new amp in the mix. i see emission 300b xls.some sort of sophia and maybe some w.e.'s.
but after reading this review i may just try it the way it comes for awhile. heres some highlights. alot of the review he is giving this an unfair comparison to a $40k shindo/wavac setup. thats more than 4 times the price of this.

The T1500 is among the top 300B amps I have heard in retrieving and portraying detail. I never noticed any loss of detail and that great detail and information just comes alive with this amp. It’s like someone turned on the lights and you can see more of what is going on. The music flows very naturally in the midrange. I’m using the word “detail” to talk about how much information it conveys. This ability to produce detail that is so easy to hear also allows it to be one of the best imaging 300B amps on the market; more on that later.
Top-end and Midrange
These are the glory of the Allnic T1500 integrated amp. It simply lights up the music. It’s as if you can see it more clearly than with other amps. Compared to other amps even my beloved Wavac EC300B, the Allnic made it sounded like someone came along and hit a light switch and now I can hear everything clearer than before. Voices, strings, and horns all sounded so clear and allowed me to hear more air and nuances than I knew were there. This made the music sound so fast and so exciting.
 
guess i can answer the question that i asked in this thread in a few weeks. i came by a couple pair of these beauties today!!!!!!!
