Hello,
Carolyn from Genesis Advanced Technologies here. Mike invited my brother Gary to the forum, and of course Gary invited me.
I handle Corporate Affairs at Genesis, including HR, Legal matters, sign checks, etc. I am trained in classical piano and singing, and I have perfect pitch. Which was invaluable to my brother in the his early years as a designer.
"Hey Carol! It's distorting! What's that note??"
Something that he hasn't had to do in many, many years. I also write poetry, enjoy medieval reenactment as a hobby and am a kitten wrangler and cat herder. I foster kittens for a couple local shelters. So if I'm welcome here, you will see the "Pets" forum pick up as I post the current litter in my house.
My system? The smallest Genesis speakers - the previous generation G7 Petites, a prototype Genesis first generation amplifier, a prototype Genesis... you get the idea.
My piano (a 1908 Knabe Mahogany Upright Grand) is more important to me and takes up all the space in my living room and I'll hang on to it until I die - arthritis in my hands preventing me from playing like I used to - or not!
Cheers!
Carolyn
