Hello WADAX

You and Michael start throwing your diatribe insults and going as far as posting a message from another thread completely out of context. This bullying non-sense has got to stop NOW.

Enough is enough.

Hi Randy - I'm sorry you feel attacked. What exactly was out of context? It's a screenshot of your own words after you told others here to "tone it down".

I said nothing in this post about politics, about anti-anyone or any how. Honestly, that is exactly the opposite of my feelings. I simply stated, as a very long-term member, that calling other members names and "bullying" type messages has never been condoned or appreciated at the Audio Shark Forum.

As a new member, on any other forum on the planet you would have already earned a lifetime ban. I suggest you start thinking very carefully about your future posts.

You think you are being cute with your insults. I assure you that you are not.

Enough is enough.
What is your point here? So your "long standing" membership, now anoints you to what is or is not allowed.

I will restate, the OP was innocently posting his positive findings of his new purchase, which some of us (even though NOT AS LONG A MEMBER AS YOU) were trying to #1 congratulate him on his purchase and #2 share some of our own findings, was derailed by some inane post regarding some inane and totally absurd post regarding what "10 audiophiles" found. LMAO

First what is an "audiophile"? Someone who has is fortunate enough to be able to afford this stuff?

Second, I think the 535 members in Congress and 100 Senators in the Senate as well as POTUS are more likely to agree
unanimously on something than "10 audiophiles"

AND LAST, his post was nothing but a hit and run, derailing the intention and purposes of what the OP was posting and desireing to discuss.

Yes I called it out and he deserved it. You have a differing opinion, fine stop with your perpetual calls for censoring some who disagree. It is you who should abide by "enough"

AND one last thing. Yes, I own the StudioPlayer with a PowerSupply, yes, I am enjoying it and yes I agree with the OP, but as DiNiro said in Heat, "Don't let yourself get attached to anything you are not willing to walk out on in 30 seconds flat", that is my perspective on high end audio. I never get so attached to anything would never make the kind of inane claims some have made here in endorsing what I own and no I am not a shill, as one of your BROS claimed for Elliot.

Again, as usual, out of context. I said specifically I did not bring up any politics, one way or the other, in this thread. In the other thread it was pretty much all about politics. I simply said, in no uncertain terms, that insults and bullying on the Shark has always been frond upon. Period, end of discussion.

Please known when to stop and let it go.

Yes, some one that has been a member for many many years versus a user who at the time had 20 something post does certainly make a difference. I simply stated that insults and calling other members names, bullying tactics are frond upon at the Shark. Its pretty simple really. Be respectful, and as a new member the last thing you should be doing is throwing out insults.

"Please known when to stop and let it go"

So why are you continuing to post here???

Maybe you should heed your own advice and let this thread return to the findings of some, about a product, one of your brothers in arms, felt the inane need to denigrate with an inane post, which by the way, my response was NOT bullying (despite your warped perception) but calling it out for what it was, absurd with ZERO legitimacy other than to validate the poster's own validation of his own purchase.

Keep it about audio, be respectful and I never would have posted in this thread. I am 100% willing to let it go. Are you?

NO it doesn't. Again, maybe your political leanings as has been evident, thinks YOU ARE ENTITLED to some "difference" but it doesn't.

We have very differing opinions as to what constitutes "insults" and what constitutes absurd posts that deserve to be called out as inane and absurd and it is very clear, your belief, strictly reside with those and those posts that codify your own perspective.

Yes, I have been trying to keep it about the OP post, until it was derailed, which I called it out for the absurdity, which then had the typical echo chamber of dissenters, who started in with the counters, including calling me a shill for BendingWave.

Remember how this thread started, the intent of the OP, the initial responses and where it went by the echo chamber.

Yes, I would welcome this thread getting back to the OP topic, if possible and refraining from the negative hyperbole that derailed the OP's intentions.

Obviously, you won't let it go. My political leanings have zero baring on this post. I am not the one who brought it up. However, I am in the vast majority in my beliefs. Latest count says nearing 70% of American feel as I do. You really need to know when to stop. And yes, long term members in any group, have and will always have precedence over new members. It is the way of the world.

Agreed, and please do that.

I'm sorry Randy. I know I am a bit slow - I'm still trying to understand what was out of context about the post.

You were calling for people to "tone it down" but I'm just trying to respect your wishes and understand what is and is not considered "toning it down".

Was your post screenshot before or after the "tone it down"?

Also what is the source of your 70% statement you made backing up your pedophile claim?

I'm genuinely trying to understand.

Thank you.

WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW

Your post says it all. Another one who can so blatantly claim you aren't WHAT YOU SO BLATANTLY AND PROUDLY claim you are????????

Do you ever see the hypocrisy in your comments? That wasn't meant for an answer.

I am literally shaking my head in amazement.

Your post (and this is really an amazing claim by me as I have run into so many like you in my many years of debating those like yourself) is one of the most amazing statements by the echo chamber of your own self-anointed belief system.

I have tried six ways from Sunday to throw out an olive branch and you two simple refuse to take it. I have too many issues in life to deal with this crap in an audio forum. I will leave it at that because obviously nothing else works. Have a good life...

PERFECT. Trust me, nothing makes me happier than to have nothing to with you.

Now leave despite your self-appointed higher than thou status and let us resume discussing the OP topic at hand, although probably impossible, given how you and your echo chamber have so willingly (but usual) derailed it.

Its unfortunate that it seems impossible to have a civil discussion about audio gear on an audio forum. Maybe this is a maga branded forum, sure seems like some are intent on making it so and imposing their own brand of political correctness. I didn't get that when I joined. I don't support your man politically, particularly after he announced at a funeral that he hates his political opponents like me. That dampens one's enthusiasm a bit. I did agree with several of his promises, and said so even before the election-no more wars, lower prices, peace in Ukraine in 24 hours, reducing the national debt. Also on controlling the border although my view is much closer to Mr. Reagan's.

Its true that only the moderators can require a certain standard of conduct on a forum and the keyboard warriors can say whatever- make this political, insult anyone who disagrees, refer to a whole group of folks interested in this hobby as "nitwits," (about switches, for goodness sake) whatever you want to do. I'm sure I'll draw a flurry of insults as the positivity train is yet again in the ditch. I'll live with that, I don't need your affirmation anymore than you need mine. Its just that anyone not involved in this little hobby of ours would likely think this discussion is being carried on by a bunch of 14 year old mean girls, not grown men.

Before you start calling me names, I have a modest suggestion made in good faith, one that I think a lot of folks on this forum might endorse. How about if we absolutely leave politics, religion, what kind of ice cream we like, whatever, out of this audio forum and just discuss audio-the singular interest that brought everyone to this forum. There are dozens-maybe hundreds of venues for the other stuff. Plenty of outlets for those that want to share. And when we discuss our audio issues, maybe we could refrain from name-calling, disparaging other's choice of equipment because they don't hear what we hear, or judging equipment and the owners based on how much money is involved? Just mutual respect for fellow enthusiasts and a dose of common courtesy. That's only a suggestion, but it might improve the experience.

As to the studio player, I think OP acquired a fine piece of gear and hope he enjoys it for a long time. I had a chance a few months ago to hear the Studio Player and the Berkeley DAC swapped out in the same system and thought they were quite different, but both superb and couldn't imagine anyone not being happy with the Wadax. FWIW, I think I would prefer the Wadax to Esoteric, the comparison that started this, but it might be interesting to understand the point of view of someone who sees it differently.

I hope you have a pleasant day.

The mentality of the cultists never ceases to amaze me.

That's about what I expected. Too bad.
Why do people of your ilk continue to respond. Is it a disease? Don’t understand.

I get who and what you are between you rants here and on the rack dealer antisemitic post I understand.

Nuf said.

Enjoy your echo chamber I’m done

Thank you for your post, Kramer. Unfortunately, I expected the same in reply. The funny part is when a full-on cult member accuses a clear-thinking adult's plead for common decency and gets called a cult member in return.
