Interesting story...or not; A while back, I was researching amps to succeed my PS Audio HCA2 that would be a good synergistic match with JBL 1400 Array's. A quick Google search and a thread popped up on Audioshark with Nelson Pass's name attached to it. A quick read revealed the legend himself owns 1400's and apparently uses them for amp testing. Hello, Synergy? Is that you? Now, I always trust my ears rather than my eyes when it comes to audio, however in this case I was willing to make an exception. I mean it's Nelson Freakin' Pass! So thanks to that thread, I'm a happy owner of a X150.5...and considerably lighter in the wallet. Thanks, Audioshark!
I'm a member of Agon, AA, AR, and AVS, although haven't been very active until a year ago or so. Now that the kids are older, I actually have a little time to enjoy our hobby again and hope to learn from the many experienced members here. Who knows, I may even try to contribute from my very shallow pool of knowledge as well.
