Hello to All:

Never a forum guy, but stumbled into this and really like the support and help of the people.

As I reflect back, gear and equipment has been an illness my entire life, except now the caliber has changed making me think I am no more sick then when I was younger and had to have a new Sony portable CD player, then into the separates of Nakamichi, Adcom, Carver with Klipsch Fortes, La Scala then Snell Type E’s. From their AV was introduced to me as the new thing and I bought a Denon something, and still have this in my workout room then onto Pioneer Elites A/V and Plasma TV’s when the cost of the those was nothing like they are today.

Now somehow I have gotten even sicker, with power cords, interconnects, tweaks and such shadowing the gear they connect to, and yes none of my family or friends understand this, and I am not sure they even care. But here I am listening to David Bowie and his Space Oddity while I type this self-confession of one of the most expensive journeys I have ever taken aside from home ownership.

Maybe this all started listening to all the classic rock albums and 8 tracks from my Dads Marantz system from the early 70’s, dunno.

Thanks for listening, pun intended!
