This hobby makes being stuck at home a little more tolerable. Hope all are staying safe and healthy. Mostly a 2-channel network audio guy, with separate headphone and speaker systems:

Hi Greg and welcome. Really nice headphone set up. I have a friend who uses Legacy speakers.

I've met Merrill a couple times at an audio show. Hope you plan to post your experience with the Element amp.
 
I've not met Merrill in person, but I became a big fan years ago of his Veritas Monoblocks. We corresponded a lot by email and then by phone. I really liked his thinking and I was fortunate enough not to be swayed by all the Class D naysayers at the time. He provided me an upgrade-outgrade path for my DecWare 6ch setup to the Veritas. I love them. I also own the PS Audio BHK 300 Monoblocks, and like them a lot, but the Merrill "speed story" really resonates with me, and they pair extremely well with the Legacy. With the move up to the Vivaldi Stack from PS Audio DirectStream/Memory Player, I went back to Merrill and discovered the 118 & 116. The 118 is just more than I need. And once again, Merrill afforded me an upgrade path for amps I have owned for five years. That kind of customer service and support is just delightful. I even used the Veritas as an experiment to power the RAAL SR1a ribbon earfield cans. I could not keep the setup that way for long, but wow, it was something else.
