hegel rost line output

hi,

just got the rost. i have the line output connected to my jl audio e112 subwoofer. i have to turn the volume level on the sub to max before i hear moderate bass. this made me believe the line output level from the hegel is very low. is there anyway to increase it? previously i was using a nad c368 amp and i did not have this problem.

also i tried resetting the hegel by using the dac+ and mute buttons on the remote, but the display changes to "hegel" and nothing happens.
