HDtracks vs Qobuz – Hi-Res Downloads (not streaming)

I get it. You still like to hoard stuff (I still have my physical library so I understand); you don’t enjoy driving (!!), and you could also improve on your math.
It is all good though! [emoji110]

Improve on my math? Since the Qobuz Sublime plan is $180/year & the download discount ranges from 30% to 60%, the break-even point would range from $600 to $300. I chose $400 as an average. Hoard stuff? That's pretty pejorative. And a giant assumption on your part. There's a big difference between a collector & a hoarder. And where did I say anything about whether I enjoy driving? That's another giant (& spurious) assumption to make, considering my simple statement of fact that I don't have a car at the moment... (Although I grant you it would have been clearer if I had said "when I have one" rather than "if I had one"...)

I also consider purchased/downloaded music as music I own. Currently I buy albums or digital downloads... I do not consider myself as streaming since I have no interest in streaming services and all my digital music is on my server directly connected to my DAC. I can take any of these digital versions with me on my portable. If there is a particular album I want on my portable I can record it from my phono stage.
