Has anybody ever heard of Fisher D2 speakers?

Thanks. Yeah it does sound really well now that i think about it. From what i have read the MASH technology basically expanded the ability of the 1 bit DAC. However it does sometimes skip a little even on clean cds, but i think a cd eye cleaner is all it needs, after all, it is aging.

...That or simply blow some air inside when the disc tray is open. ...With your mouth (it's free), and it works.
Concentrate that air in the center and behind the tray; clean, precise, and with verve.
* With a carousel it's tricky; better get a CD lens cleaner disc from your local Walmart.

You can also open the top cover of your carousel CD player and spray some computer air (those bottles of air to clean your PC and keyboard; five bucks). ...And just around and over the CD lens, but without touching it.

Actually they are 80's vintage. They were not sold as separates. They can with Fisher stack Rack systems ...you didn;t overpay but that is about what they are worth

Thank you! Finally someone who knows something about them. What exactly is a stack rack system? And what are they used for?

I know it's just an audio forum on the Internet, but the poster from the top quote above (Rob, aka ohbythebay); I do really miss him.
With time I developed a great respect towards him, and he's one of the best gentleman I ever met; with the right human touch, and a fantastic family man. He always takes the time to help anyone he could.

Now you need this Fisher receiver to go along with your Fisher speakers. :D

I have no idea. Ive always wanted, and im not trying to be another young guy who just wants loud bass, cerwin vegas. Not exactly on the top of everyones hi-fi dream list but ive always wanted some. I dont have any stores within driving distance that actually sell hi-fi speakers. :/

Wow, the 60's and 70's.

I never made it to Woodstock but I did go to the Atlanta Pop Festival in 1970. Not sure how I got back to Gainesville but seeing Hendrix for the second time ( 1st July 8, 1967 Jacksonville Fla, he opened for the Monkees) was a real experience.
