Agree for ME boxes are beautiful in EBONY.

Andre's taste of music selections is top-notch! ...In my honest opinion and personal proven experience. :)
...He's right in line with one of my own ♪ taste variations.
I could not recommend more his own ♪ recommendations. ...To everyone here, and over there, in the here and now.

Thank you Bob, i must be on Audioshark.:)

Wow, congrats ! A friend of mine - Wojtek Pacula - owns a pair and swears by them. Enjoy !

Jerome,

Congratulations! I heard an interview recording of Ian Anderson of Jethro Tull on a system using your speakers talking of some early days when he was recording one of his albums and Led Zeppelin was down the hallway in the another studio (I would have liked to been there as I am a huge Zep fan) recording one of their gems. Anyway, I almost crapped my pants on how natural and realistic his voice was being reproduced through those speakers. Indeed, they did an almost surreal job at representing his voice and it is a memory I not likely forget. Just outstanding.

Thanks a lot Anthony !
Yes no speaker is perfect but I can say that the voices reproduction of the 40.1 is very very very close to perfection. The best I ever heard in fact. Seems to be the common strength of all Harbeths...

Hi Jerome,

That's very important to me. I NEED to hear these speakers. I love great voice reproduction.

Joe. Voice alone I found the C7ES3 or SHL5 are sweeter. Maybe try one of them first. You will not lose the money on Harbeth ;)

Hi Jerome,

Joe, their voice reproduction is just the best one I ever heard. It is not "warm" or colored. It is incredibly close to reality. Listening to favorite woman singers is just similar to permant goosebumps. Very amazing experience.
And yes, from all the owners this is the common strength of all Harbeths. On the Harbeth user forum, a few people say the same thing as Paul : for smaller rooms, the SHL5 do not give anything away to the 40.1. They may be even better.
You will LOVE Harbeth speakers.

Joe

There is a dealer not far from you in Lakewood, N.J. Also a mint pair of SHL5's with the Skyland stands in Philly on Agon.
