Set up temporarily until I decide on the proper stands. Smaller than I expected but oh so big in sound. Looks are stunning. These really are amazing speakers. Superb vocals. MORE than enough detail, if not too much :) Do I miss my TADs, no way!

Awesome! Congrats on the new speakers. I am looking forward to my demo in 4 weeks and hope to get to hear the 30.1s.

What amp will you drive them with Joe?
 
Thank you Brian. Right now the C2300 and MC275VI are on them. When I get home from work tonight, the Naim Supernait2 with HiCap-DR will go on. At some point, my CJ gear will be hooked up. Right now the McIntosh combo is wonderful.

The 40.1 will be the same beautiful color. I am so excited. If the 30.1 are any indication, the 40.1 will be outstandingly superb.

A popular stand choice for the Harbeth's are the Skylan stands or if you prefer the more industrial look Sound Anchors.

I bought the Skylan for the 40.1. I think I would have preferred the Sound Anchors for both of them but a friend keeps threatening to buy my 30.1's. Not sure if he will or not. I believe the 40.1 will be just perfect.

Huge full range sound with the delicacy, musicality and naturalness of Harbeth.

You should love the 40.1 more than you would guess.

He needs to buy to try at home AND KNOW BY HIMSELF. Then he either keeps the gear in his collection for his sig in AS or he sells it !

Hi Nick,

I could not decide what I wanted 30.1 or 40.1. First I put my order for the 40.1 and thought about it for a day or so and thought what the heck, throw in the 30.1's too. I had a feeling the 40.1's would take longer, but did not realize it would take this long. I am glad the 30.1's showed up first. Besides, a friend is thinking about my 30.1's and even if he does not take them, I don't care, I love them.

Absolutely.

Jerome I now know what you mean about Harbeth. Truly a bargain and outstanding music.

They are instruments, not cold reproducers of music.
