:hey: H, My name is Peter, and I hail from the UK.
I have been into Hi Fi for a number of years, and have in the last 66 months, rekindled my interest in it.
My current set up is a few months old, and one piece I bought last week. Its what some may say a fairly "budget system, with some attitude"
Sony UBPX 800 Blue Ray/CD/SACD spinner
Anthem MRX 520 5.1 A/V Amplifier
Amphion Argon 1 front speakers
Amphion Argon 5C Centre (bought last week)
BK XXLS400 DF Sub Woofer
Maudant Short MS10i Classic (from the 1990''s) rear speakers
all held together with QED XT40 cable
Furtech HDMI leads
I am on a UK AUDIOPHILES Facebook web site, and have been lead happily down the path of 2 channel sound, I plan a series of up grades in the next few months, starting with the addition of a Power Amp, (Anthem PVA2 or a Nord?) just to drive the front 2 speakers, when listening to music, then at a much later date change the front speakers to Amphion floorstanders...probably.
My main musical passion is the "pipe organ", and have over 200 "homemade" private recordings, as well as my CD collection, with everything from AC/DC and Disturbed to Pink Floyd/YES/ Rick Wakeman to Classical.
