Hallo,

Apologies for my English it is not my native language.
I am thinking to buy focal sopra 2 with nuvista 600.
My room is rectangualar 3 meter 90 by 9 meter 50
Need to place speakers on long wall. 2 meters between speakers
2 meters to my seating position.
Any one have experienced this combination,
is this a good combination?
Is room big enough for those speakers?
I play fairly loud, al sorts of music, not real audiophile music
very commercial.

thanks

Hello from another Belgian!

You'll need speakers that can be placed quite close to the walls.
The Sopras are excellent speakers, and the Nu Vista amp is very good (I've heard its bigger brother the 800 extensively and liked it).
But I've only heard the Focals placed quite far from the walls.
As always: try it out in your room!

Good luck, veel geluk, bonne chance!

Hallo Bart,
Do you have any recommendations for speakers that can be placed close to the wall?

Hi Pjetrof,

I'm sure there are a lot of brands that can be placed close to walls.

But to open your horizon, this was my impression of Alaudio during the XFI show last year.
These can be put in almost every room.
The room we sat in must have been something in the 6 x 3,5 m range.
Speakers against the long wall, and we were still sitting 3m away.

First really nice discovery: Alaudo!

A one man company.
Three models: the small Alosa, the bigger Alauda, the 3-way Alondra.
You put them against the wall, connect them to an amp, and you listen!
The Alosa already sounded surprisingly full, with a very good soundstage and depth, but the Alondra left us with our mouths open.
11 cm deep and such a good imaging!

I'm sure this can be a very good solution for small rooms, such as the one we were sitting in.

Amp: Gato Audio.

Prices: very reasonable!
