If 2012 in California is anything like 2012 was for Washington wines, then that bottle of Stag's cask 23 must have been spectacular (though young)! A number of Stags Leap District 2012's have received some pretty high marks already. Great wines are made better when shared with friends.

We were drinking and doing some catching up we barely eat, so we didn't think of snapping any pics. If we had post any pic, gonna try to remember to snap some next time and post.

I've had many Stags, but the Cask 23 though young was spectacular and smooth, it's worth adding to IMO..
