I did not realize Gibson Brands who owns Gibson Guitars has a large stake in Teac/Esoteric and several others companies may have a financial challenge.

PS Audios Copper Edition is where I picked this up from and will look for more information.

Correct,...the bit about Gibson is about the same age news as the Onkyo-Integra buy-out. Gibson is an investor only.
