Anyone catch this well done movie about the life of James Brown? Pretty incredible story as to where he came from, a back woods shack with an abusive father and a mother who left to become a prostitute, to become a successful and wealthy for a time artist / musical genius.

Dialog was hard to follow because the actor playing JB learned to speak like him really well. The story and soundtrack is worth a viewing. I can appreciate JB much more now after seeing this one.

Yup, I thought it was pretty good! I don't know his biography well to know if the movie is faithful to it or not... But the actor they picked, he looks nothing like JB For once, he's tall and slim!
But he did do the moves right, and as Brian said, he mimicked his speak really well.
