We took in a pair of Wilson Alexandria X2's in trade and set them up literally, just for the experience. Have been listening back and forth between the X2's, Magico M3's, Goldmund Satya and Kaiser Kaweros over the last week.

I don't really have a favorite, each speaker has it's +'s/-s, but I could live with any one of these particular speakers, BUT it's a lot more fun to have all four of them to listen to:)

I find myself depending on my mood and what music I am playing choosing one or the other speaker to listen to. They are all connected simultaneously from the Aurender N10 and with several remote controls, you can just turn one system down and the other up.....it's quite intoxicating!

Well... thats just some cool shit Bob. Nice you've rigged a way to swap and listen, most all of us I think would love to be able to so easily hear different speakers, though optimal speaker positioning is essential to really hearing what each is capable of, yes?

Now, if you could put a chair in the center and a pair of speakers optimally set up on each of four walls of a room, then turn 90 degrees and swap to that set of speakers, hell, I'd probably fly to NYC for that! :D

Hi Bob, I hear ya:), and actually I first listened to each speaker separately with other speakers removed following your line and the normal line of thinking. The results were actually all good, BUT much to my surprise when I put all of the speakers into the equation, per the pic, each speaker sounded as good to me with the other speakers around them as they did when they were playing in the space solo.

You would really have to experience sitting with four remotes hearing the differences to understand that it works quite well like this in this particular case.

What did the Wilson's get traded in on?

Goldmund. And it was not for the sound or the look. The Goldmund, being completely active offered a different room environment vs. having many "boxes" sitting in the room, which for this particular client, was what they were looking for at this time.

Hi Norman, it really comes down to personal preference....each system sounds quite good.
True, BUT...except for vocals via DSD, the Goldmund is sublime (there are a few things PCM only cant do). With fulll parametric DRC updated in Geneva specific to a given room? My money is on the Goldmund.

The Satya sounds REALLY GOOD:)......but I guarantee that if you brought in 10 people you would have choices of the M3's, X2's or Kaweros as well.

Cause you have not flipped the turbo switch yet. Measure up the room and have Vero put it in the math blender and send you the DRC correction! Next level stuff. :celebrate008_2:

I actually DO have Vero's Proteus/Leonardo configuration. I also use the Satya as my L/R for the home theater in the room which is included in the Proteus/Leonardo config. It sounds really good.

Kool. Last time you didnt, as far as I can recall.

What uplift did you perceive?

Yes, exactly. When you were here I didn't have the Satya, that's when we did the Vero config.

I can't remember the uplift? it was over a year ago. I can't remember yesterday:)
