Front display auto-off?

Hi,

I just switched from Aurender to Lumin and I am very happy with the move!

One thing I miss from my Aurender is the ability to set set the front panel display to turn-off 5-10 seconds after a track has started playing.

On my Lumin I can only set the display to on or off - or have I missed something?

There is an idle sleep setting, but it turns off the front panel only after stopped playing, so it is not exactly what you asked for.

I always run my Lumin with display off. There’s no real need for me to look at it, my iPad tells me what’s playing anyway.

Thanks for your reply! I did not think of this function but it can work. Does the sleep mode influence sound quality?

The sleep mode does not affect SQ - it only takes effect after playback stopped. For best sound quality, please disable everything you don't need - such as unused digital outputs, AirPlay, Spotify Connect. Some users disable front panel too. (I was going to mention Roon but I recall you use Roon.)
