He used Scan-Speak drivers. I'm a fan of Scan-Speak silk dome tweeters. They are in the Dali Grands also.

I am a owner of the magnificent FS Ktema. i have had a pair for over a year. Bought them in Italy, but now live in California. To date, i have not heard a better unique sounding speaker. Franco took pride in clean dynamic sound. Listen to any old FS Sonus Faber and you will hear the Ktema sound, but add seperation. The rear firing subs really spread the dynamic sound field. They love power. I had a simaudio 600i integrated trying to power these beauties, no luck. Had to move up to seperates to get the response i wanted. These speakers will be buried with me. Any questions, let me know. In the area, come listen.
