Franco Serblin Ktema Speakers Any opinion ?

I have a pair of Ktemas and i use the Accuphase A-70 class A amp. I have used the SimAudio 860a amp as well. The Accuphase is far superior controlling the bottom end. I agree these speakers dip down in 2 ohm and need power to really get the low frequencies. I am only a little familiar with the Audio Reference brand and heard them on a couple occasions. From my humble opinion i think the ARCs will do great for the mid and high range, but be a little loose in the pants controlling the bass. To fully benefit from the Ktemas you need some low end power. If read the many reviews it will state the same. Great speakers!!!!

Harris4crna. Accuphase A-70 class a amp and C-3850 preamp. Franco Serblin Ktema speakers. VPI Classic 1 TT with Simaudio 810LP phono stage and VPI SDS. Transparent Reference Speaker cable and IC. Quadraspire racks and much more.

And what about a pair of Ktêma with a Zanden 6000 ?
I hane now Voxativ Ampeggio which are full of dynamics and details, but lack a bit soundspace with large orchestras.
Will the Ktêma respond to that and properly fill up the space…?

Thank you for the add! I recently auditioned the Ktêma's against Serafino's and the former blew the latter out of the sky... Compared to the Ktêma's the Serafinos had a muddied mid, someone else called it "noisy". I think I am in love.... I was able to listen to them on a similar amp to mine (though not broken in). Such clarity in the mids and the mid-highs! Such space, such definition... The bass performance leads me to think I could do away with my sub or else that I would have to upgrade to the REL S510 if I want to get near the quality of the Ktêma's but a touch lower. I have to test... As someone with damaged ears over many decades of live music I will need to find the right cables, perhaps to slightly enhance the highs without ruining the sound for my friends and family.... Perhaps Chord Extreme? They have the name to be bright. In my current setup I use bewared Nordost Heimdall. Thank you for your opinions!
