Out of the box this DAC shows great promise. It is suppose to really shine using HQPlayer up sampling to DSD 512. Any HQPlayer / Roon experts want to help me get set up?

I love the look of T&A. I have only had the chance to hear them a couple of times but always wished I had more time to listen.
 
Congrats Marty! Love me some T+A! My PDP3000HV is a killer digital hub, but gets no love on this side of the pond.

I am seriously looking at this DAC. When you get a chance could you run the DAC directly to your Nord monos utilizing the preamp section of the DAC? I am very interested in how the preamp section of the T&A perform.

Thanks Marty. I too have a Gustard X20 that I have been running with some of the mods that Ric Shultz has come up with. I recently inserted an Exasound e12 DAC into my system and really preferred the sound of the e12. While I like the Gustard, it is just a bit too smooth for my tastes and I like more information retrieval than what the Gustard brings to the table.

If the T&A DAC8 DSD's preamp section is as good as advertised, this would be a very good thing!

Interesting read over at CA today from Ted_b who is trying to get this dac for a review

Yup! A few of those orders are mine. The DAC8 is selling like crazy.
