Ever dreamed of owning your own audio company?

That’s catching a falling knife. As my high school track coach said when he cut me from the team: “It’s better to be a has been than a never was”. :)

First pair of speakers that I ever bought were Ohm D2s from Tech HiFi in 1977. Lots of buddies bought the C2s but I thought they were too bright sounding. Powered them with a Sansui receiver back then.

The Fs were kinda of a cool speaker and the stacked Fs that Harry Weisfeld put together were a little like MBLs. So there’s always a soft spot in my heart for Ohms and John’s creations. Been around a long time.

This could actually be a more common occurrence, as many of the audio proprietors out there are reaching a certain age. Tough proposition though - one has to be sure their customers are locked in and would repeat purchases and that one has the technical team and chops to actually grow the product offerings.
