Thanks George. I hope you're well now.

I'm streaming Tidal from a dedicated server computer through Roon to Lumin S1.
If I we're to upgrade one ethernet cable, which might give me the most impact? The cable from computer to Router or Lumin to Router?
My thoughts would be the router to lumin Ethernet.cable. If the distance is not too long you could really get a great cable without too much $. Unfortunately my distance is about 40’

Time to try fiber media converter (FMC). Fiber has the advantage of isolating noise (with potential SQ improvement), and can be used for long lengths.
WiFi Router -> FMC -> fiber -> FMC -> Lumin
The Lumin-side FMC needs to be equipped with a LPS.
Lumin U1 / M1 / D2 : TP-Link MC210CS
Lumin S1 / A1 / T1 / D1: TP-Link MC110CS
There are users of Lumin and other network players who reported positive SQ improvement with a fiber-based setup.
Check out this article:

(But please follow the connection in this post rather than the article, and to keep things simple, you do not need to buy an extra switch.)
Thank You Peter. Can you suggest a LPS and it's source?
