Well, I think he has the right to be vocal about an experimental vaccine that nearly killed him. That is his story and he can choose to share it with others while others have the choice to listen or ignore. That's the way the rational world works.... or at least used to
 
And looking at it from Eric Clapton's point of view.

1. They told me the vaccine will prevent me from getting infected (ANY of the Covid vaccines) FALSE

2. They told me the vaccine will prevent me from spreading it to others. FALSE

3. They told me the vaccine will prevent me from getting sick with covid. FALSE

4. They told me the vaccine will prevent me from dying from covid. FALSE

5. They told me it was safe to get it.... FALSE, it nearly killed ME.

Absolutely. All of the above is happening. Statistics come into play just like they did before the vaccines but all of what I said is true.

My friends went on vacation to a Caribbean Island. Family of 5 with kids ranging from teens to mid 20s.

All tested positive and kept testing positive while being "isolated" in their hotel rooms for extra 10 days before being allowed to return.

All were asymptomatic and had no idea they got infected.

Vaccines helped "perhaps" and statistics were on their side but let's not forget 50% of population was also asymptomatic before vaccines were available!

Had they returned to the States, they may have infected unknown numbers of others. But that is exactly what is happening and will keep on happening!

There are plenty of vaccinated people getting infected and dying. Israel is the perfect example but once again, statistics come into play. Immuno-compromised and those with comorbidities will unfortunately not always make it, even with vaccines.
 
Let a bit more time pass and the world will also figure out that what some studies are already showing and have hit the press.

Natural immunity was and is still stronger than vaccines. Unfortunately those whose immune system was not up to the challenge of fighting off the virus will die... (or would have died without vaccines for now). The elderly, immuno-suppressed and those with comorbidities have/had much less chance and 90% of deaths last year were with 2 or more comorbidities. People die every day from all kinds of disease and chronic conditions as well.


Vietnam detects COVID cluster at hospital after vaccinations.

Those vaccinated are still infecting each other and the frightening part is the viral load seems to be exponentially rising as the study from Vietnam with nearly 70 healthcare workers showed. The workers infected each other and their tests showed a 258 times higher count than the pre-vaccine days and variant counts.

I am not convinced they know what they are doing personally!
 
No, none of the "facts" you posted are real. The vaccine is "safe", the risks are less than those from walking across a city street. No one promised freedom from infection, illness, spread or death, merely a greatly reduced risk of all those, which has been well documented.
 
I would suggest that this thread be closed before it turns into another mud-slinging contest. There are enough others of those still going ;)

Ignorance is bliss. Go on believing what you will because articles being published from actual observations from various countries and science itself, do not concern those whose ears and eyes are wide shut by the media and hysteria. Just keeping repeating to yourself "I follow science" as is popular these days which is the exact opposite of what real and unbiased science tells us.

Politics? This is not about politics. Think about the boosters and why you are getting them. Why are YOU SIR being asked to mask up?

Would be wise to follow developments out of Israel to see what to expect in our own future. Israel got vaccinated early and most of the population is already vaccinated. Over 70% at which point herd immunity should have put this nasty bug behind them. That is NOT what is happening. Boosters came out of the Israel scare of what is going on right now with their rate of infections and deaths. Vaccinated of course included!

JUST FOLLOW ISRAEL. Trust me on this.
 
Getting back to Eric Clapton. Once again, he has his reasons to be vocal. That is his experience and it was not a positive one. Everyone decides or has already decided about vaccines. Forcing anyone would simply be criminal.

Eric Clapton has shared his experience of being vaccinated, calling his reactions to it “disastrous” and criticising the so-called “propaganda” promoting the vaccine’s safety.

In a letter written to Italian architect (and anti-lockdown activist) Robin Monotti Graziadei, shared on Telegram and verified by Rolling Stone, Clapton detailed the side effects he claims to have experienced after receiving the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine.

“I took the first jab of AZ and straight away had severe reactions which lasted ten days. I recovered eventually and was told it would be twelve weeks before the second one…,” Clapton wrote in the letter.

“About six weeks later I was offered and took the second AZ shot, but with a little more knowledge of the dangers. Needless to say the reactions were disastrous, my hands and feet were either frozen, numb or burning, and pretty much useless for two weeks, I feared I would never play again, (I suffer with peripheral neuropathy and should never have gone near the needle.) But the propaganda said the vaccine was safe for everyone…”
